Senior Data Analyst Banking (Risk & Treasury)

Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support financial data analysis and reporting within a risk and treasury environment. You will work closely with business teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across reporting processes and financial systems. Requirements · Analyse and validate financial datasets · Support risk and treasury reporting processes · Investigate data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis · Ensure data quality and consistency across systems · Develop and maintain data documentation · Collaborate with business stakeholders and reporting teams · Support reconciliation and reporting processes Required Skills & Expertise Must Have: · Strong experience in data analysis within financial services · Strong SQL skills · Understanding of financial products and banking processes · Experience in data validation and reconciliation · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Should Have / Nice to Have: · Knowledge of risk or regulatory reporting · Experience with data modelling and data warehousing · Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Qlik) · Experience with Agile tools and environments Soft Skills · Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail · Structured and data-driven approach · Strong collaboration and communication skills · Ability to work independently and take ownership · Problem-solving and result-oriented mindset
