Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database & Backend Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server–driven application architectures, backend development using ASP.NET/.NET, and front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in designing and optimizing high-performance applications and possess strong domain knowledge of financial distribution products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications with a strong focus on database-centric architectures.
  • Architect and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, functions, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using ASP.NET, C#, Web API, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Build and enhance user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, data integrity, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business, QA, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Technical Skills
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing, partitioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Web API, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web development.
  • Experience with database migration, data integration, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.

Domain Expertise
  • Strong understanding of financial distribution platforms and investment products.

  • Distributor and Advisor Platforms
  • Wealth Management and Investment Distribution Systems
  • Client Onboarding and Transaction Processing
  • Regulatory and Compliance Reporting

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in API integrations with third-party financial service providers.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design decisions.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
