About this role

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

The Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant plays a key role in advancing Moneris’ DEI strategy and delivering initiatives within the DEI roadmap. This role supports the development of inclusive programs, partnerships, employee communities, data governance practices, reporting, and engagement initiatives that strengthen equity and inclusion across the organization. Reporting to and working closely with the Director, Talent, OD and DEI, the Senior DEI Consultant helps implement programs and projects that build DEI awareness, capability, and impact throughout Moneris.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, Talent, Organizational Development and DEI.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $76,000 to $105,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Lead and evolve a sustainable support framework for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), enabling their growth, effectiveness, and long-term impact.

  • Partner with the Inclusive Workplace Council (IWC), ERGs, HR partners, and business stakeholders to deliver DEI initiatives aligned with organizational priorities and business outcomes.

  • Support execution of Moneris’ DEI strategy through communications, campaigns, partnerships, sponsorships, and employee engagement activities.

  • Lead DEI communications and awareness efforts, including newsletters, campaigns, and the annual DEI calendar.

  • Design, facilitate, and coordinate learning experiences that build inclusive leadership capabilities and foster equitable workplace practices.

  • Leverage employee insights, metrics, research, and leading practices to assess impact, identify opportunities, and continuously evolve Moneris' DEI strategy and roadmap.

Required skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading or supporting DEI strategies, programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of DEI principles, anti-racism practices, and inclusive workplace strategies.

  • Proven ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively across functions and stakeholder groups.

  • Experience creating impactful communications, learning materials, and engagement content for diverse audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying current on emerging DEI trends and leading practices.
