About this role

Senior Document Production Associate

Salary: £27,290 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: Remote(must be based in the UK)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am until 5:30pm with 1 hours unpaid break

Work model: Fully remote

Additional allowance: £20 a month mobile phone allowance

Williams Lea seeks a Senior Document Production Associate to join our team!

Purpose of role 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Production Associate to join our team at our Onshore Delivery Centre in Leeds, supporting a leading global law firm. In this role, you will deliver high-quality document production services to legal professionals, producing and formatting complex documents, presentations, reports, agreements and client deliverables to exacting standards.

Working primarily with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, you will utilise advanced document production techniques, including large document management, styles, cross-referencing, document comparison and PDF manipulation. You will also act as a key point of expertise within the team, supporting colleagues, sharing best practice and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a fast-paced, client-focused environment requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. You will be proactive, professional and committed to delivering an outstanding service, ensuring all work is accurate, compliant and aligned with client standards.

  

Key responsibilities 

  • Produce, format and amend complex legal documents, presentations, spreadsheets and other client deliverables to a high standard.
  • Utilise advanced Microsoft Office skills, including document styling, cross-referencing,
  • numbering, document comparison, PDF manipulation and large document management.
  • Deliver accurate, timely and professional document production support while managing multiple requests and competing deadlines.
  • Ensure all work complies with client requirements, house style guidelines, legal standards and document production best practices.
  • Perform thorough quality checks to maintain accuracy, consistency and attention to detail across all deliverables.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues, acting as a subject matter expert for document production processes and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot document formatting and technical issues, identifying practical solutions to meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, always delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practice and supporting operational efficiencies across the team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach to support changing business priorities and service requirements.
  • Ability to train on multiple different clients and worktypes.

Personal attributes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with extensive experience formatting complex documents and presentations.
  • Expert knowledge of document production techniques, including styles, numbering, cross-referencing, document comparison, PDF manipulation and large document management.
  • Strong understanding of legal document formatting, house styles and document best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex formatting and technical issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, using initiative to deliver effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High levels of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail in all work produced.
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is desirable.
