We are looking for a Digital Engine Services (DES) ProActive Analyst who will be responsible to monitor engine performance and operability health trends for selected engines.
The candidate needs to be a driven individual that can employ their industry experience with individual dynamism that can bring the front-line customer service team together to deliver comprehensive solutions. Excellent understanding of field and line maintenance activities, superior communication and people as well as information technology skills are fundamental. The candidate shall have extensive technical knowledge and experience with P&WC engine models and demonstrated understanding of engine performance health trending. The candidate shall also have knowledge of the ICA management.
What You Will Do *
- Monitor engine performance and operability health trends for assigned fleets using Digital Engine Services (DES) tools.
- Analyze engine anomalies, trend shifts, FADEC fault codes, exceedances, and deterioration signatures to identify potential reliability risks.
- Deliver proactive recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders through data-driven engine health assessments.
- Prepare and communicate fleet health status reports to Customer Support using DES analytics platforms.
- Perform mission, utilization, and power usage analyses to identify opportunities for improved engine availability and reliability.
- Develop, validate, and continuously improve engine health indicators, detection algorithms, procedures, and service documentation.
- Conduct oil system health assessments by correlating oil analysis reports with engine operating trends where applicable.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize engine time on wing and enhance fleet performance by identifying reliability drivers and recommending service improvements.
- Support field service teams with technical troubleshooting, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, customer support, and OEM teams to deliver best-in-class proactive engine health services.
- Document successful customer outcomes and quantify the business impact of proactive service initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have *
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of aerospace engineering or relevant aviation industry experience.
- Experience in engine performance monitoring, health trending, diagnostics, or reliability engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of engine control systems, FADEC, performance calibration testing, and trend monitoring practices.
- Experience supporting customers or providing front-line technical support.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and global teams.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engine models and Digital Engine Services.
- Experience in field and line maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience developing predictive maintenance algorithms or engine health indicators.
- Experience presenting technical information to customers and technical audiences.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and service process optimization.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused professional with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
