Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior FP&A Manager to join our growing global team at Sectigo.
The Senior FP&A Manager works within our FP&A department and serves as a strategic finance leader. This role works closely on supporting senior leadership within our sales and marketing functions, drives workflows to improve data analysis and business intelligence, and strategic insights of our top-line performance. This role works closely with Sectigo’s leadership team in the development and strategic execution of key business and financial initiatives (with a focus on revenue and related functions) and provides key analysis and insight to drive profitable growth and strategic finance initiatives.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
- Oversee, coordinate, and facilitate the completion of day-to-day financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the company’s topline and related metrics.
- Dedicated finance business partner to the Sales and Marketing organizations, delivering monthly results versus budget, KPIs and metric reporting, ROI analysis, compensation plan review and forecasting, and other decision-support analysis, as needed.
- Bring a comfort with big data: organizing, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets, identifying trends, and drawing conclusions from the available data on annual Sectigo transactions.
- Lead a cross-functional work stream to improve the quality of internal processes, systems, and data to allow for more a more complete understanding of the business and its channels.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting that effectively communicates business financial and operational performance to the private equity sponsors, the CFO / CEO, and the senior leadership team.
- Create financial models that provide financials analysis and decision support to leadership, advising on opportunities and risks impacting the business.
- As directed by the VP of Finance, take the lead on various Corporate/Strategic finance initiatives and special projects.
- Perform competitive analysis, to determine and how competitors are performing in relation to Sectigo.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis around historical trends and forecasts dealing with customers, products, competitors and financial results of divisions, segments, or the company.
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc executive reports for Board, investor, and leadership team meetings.
- Additional duties as assigned and special projects (financial/operational) as requested including transaction regarding mergers, acquisitions, or reorganizations, in response to company initiatives and business needs.
More information about this role:
- This is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model, and reporting to our Scottsdale office at least 3-4 days a week.
- The targeted compensation package for this role is between USD 140K and 165K per annum, subject upon internal equity and years of experience. We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred. Advanced degree is preferred.
- CPA or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience performing FP&A functions, centered around topline and sales business partnership is required.
- Experience building or enhancing the capabilities of a growing FP&A organization.
- Experience in SaaS, subscription, or recurring revenue business model is strongly preferred, including familiarity with ARR, retention, bookings, billings, churn, customer segmentation, and sales productivity metrics.
- Experience leading operational workflows around improving data quality, enhancing systems, dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profiles, Talents, and Desired Qualifications:
- This position requires high energy and a strong work ethic, outstanding communications, and interpersonal skills (particularly presentation skills), intellectual curiosity, and a deep business and finance acumen.
- Bring meaningful exposure to the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and decision support capabilities.
- Proven ability to make an impact as this role will bring exposure to a SaaS-based / recurring revenue subscription software organization, preferably in a highly transactional business model.
- A true “player/coach”, this role will have the ability to take a high level, strategic view to the business while still bringing a willingness to “roll up sleeves” to dig into details and engage with team members to drive outcomes.
- Collaborative, but also self-sufficient, motivated by the opportunity to lead with autonomy and independence.
- Execution-oriented with the ability to drive completion of tasks while tactfully skilled at “pushing back” to secure the internal or external resources needed to achieve results.
- Ability partner with senior executives to evaluate and shape finance and business strategy. Deep understanding of finance strategy in the context of a business partner.
- A seasoned and mature mindset that is able inspire confidence in clients and build deep relationships built on customer needs and distinctive value.
- A growth mindset, with ability to challenge process and drive new ideas and strategies; unafraid to challenge norms.
- An ability to influence and bring forth new ideas around trends and regulations that may impact the company.

- While M&A is not a core focus of the role, this role will bring exposure to M&A, including due diligence, deal negotiation, and integration. Prior M&A experience is highly desirable.
