About the Role
A fast-growing Series A AI search analytics SaaS company based in Berlin is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to shape the user experience at the core of their product. You'll sit at the intersection of design, data, and AI — turning complex analytical insights into clean, intuitive, and high-performance web interfaces used by marketing teams around the world.
This is a fully on-site role in Berlin (5 days per week). Visa sponsorship is not available.
What You'll Do
Take ownership of the frontend experience, driving UX quality across the product.
Collaborate closely with design, product, and data teams to translate requirements into polished interfaces.
Turn complex AI-generated insights into clear, beautiful, and accessible UI.
Own the development and ongoing optimization of web applications for speed and reliability.
Champion performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across all user-facing surfaces.
What We're Looking For
Required:
Strong CS fundamentals and a solid engineering foundation.
Proficiency with TypeScript and React to build scalable frontend applications.
Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui).
Proven experience with frontend performance optimization and profiling, delivering fast and responsive interfaces.
Strong knowledge of web accessibility and WCAG-compliant UI development.
A genuine design sense — you can review designs critically and iterate on them yourself.
Ability to collaborate effectively across design, product, and data functions.
Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, Germany, 5 days per week (dealbreaker).
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with AI tooling and integrating AI-generated insights into frontend applications (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €75,000 – €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location
Berlin, Germany — fully on-site, 5 days per week.
