The role
YieldNest is seeking a seasoned and talented Senior Fullstack Engineer with extensive commercial experience, and a solid understanding of TypeScript, GraphQL, and Ethereum. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented developer with a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions and a strong curiosity for innovation in the DeFi space. In this role you will be developing the API services, Frontend App, Points System, and Gateway applications.

What you will be doing
Develop and Innovate: Create and maintain sophisticated user interfaces and backend services for YieldNest products, ensuring robust and high-quality outcomes.
Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Product Team and Design Team to translate product visions into functional and engaging applications.
Code Quality and Feasibility: Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable code for both frontend and backend systems, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues while proposing and implementing new features to enhance user experience.
Continuous Improvement: Maintain and improve user applications, staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in application design and Web3.
Agile Participation: Participate in sprint planning and standups, discussing priorities and managing issues effectively.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for all development processes, adhering to version control best practices to ensure clarity and consistency in the codebase.

Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer with a strong background developing web3 applications while demonstrating proficiency in developing highly interactive, dynamic web applications.
5+ years of TypeScript experience - Expert level proficiency in Next.js and/or Nest.js.
Advanced knowledge of GraphQL & REST backends and building scalable backends. Experience with Graph Protocol and Ethereum blockchain indexing tools is a plus.
Strong preference for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and highly testable code.
Familiarity with wagmi, viem, MetaMask, Rainbowkit, and other Web3 technologies on Ethereum.
Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and crypto markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
