Senior Functional Analyst – BECRIS

A leading Belgian financial institution is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to support a credit regulatory reporting initiative. The role focuses on redesigning and maintaining an existing regulatory reporting IT solution in a compliance-driven environment. The consultant will contribute both to the system redesign and to ongoing operational support activities within a structured regulatory landscape. Requirements · Perform functional analysis and manage system design activities · Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis and impact assessments · Support regulatory reporting system redesign · Define and manage test approaches · Provide production support and enhancement recommendations · Collaborate with business, regulatory and IT stakeholders · Maintain structured documentation and ensure delivery ownership Required Skills & Expertise Must Have: · 5+ years experience as Functional Analyst · Experience in Banking or Insurance · Experience in regulatory reporting (credit domain preferred) · Strong functional analysis capabilities · Experience in testing and quality assurance · SQL knowledge · Strong analytical and communication skills Should Have: · Agile methodologies · IT Security awareness · Production support exposure Nice to Have: · Oracle / Open Systems environments · Informatica PowerCenter · SAS / Perl · Qlik Sense · Automation tooling exposur Soft Skills · Structured and delivery-focused mindset · Strong collaboration and communication abilities · Pragmatic approach with ownership mentality · Ability to operate in regulatory and compliance-driven environments
