Senior ICT Architect

We are seeking a Senior ICT Architect to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the Flemish Government environment.You will contribute to enterprise-level architecture and modernization programs in a highly structured, Agile-driven public sector environment. Requirements · Design and align domain and enterprise architecture. · Work within API-first and microservices-based ecosystems. · Contribute to Java-based and cloud-native architecture initiatives. · Apply modelling frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, and UML. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum context. · Support architectural governance and modernization strategy. Required Experience: · 5+ years as ICT Architect (specialist or enterprise). · Strong Java background. · Proven Scrum experience. · Architecture modelling expertise (TOGAF / ArchiMate / UML). · Experience with microservices and cloud (AWS/Azure). · Dutch language proficiency (C2). Nice to Have · Government or public sector experience. · Docker and containerization knowledge. · Jira/Confluence experience. · Broad architectural governance exposure.
