  • Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial arrangements, including strategic partnerships, distribution, technology, outsourcing and investment management agreements

  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders across Product, Distribution, Investments, Risk and Compliance, acting as a trusted adviser

What you'll bring

  • Approximately 5–10 years PQE, gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal function, with experience in Life Insurance, Australian Superannuation Legislation, and APRA regulatory requirements, along with knowledge of annuities or other income stream products.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Corporations Act, including directors’ duties, related party transactions and trust law.

  • Demonstrated experience managing legal risk within a corporate or investment environment.
