He shall be responsible for the Engineering & Maintenance function for Unit-4.
Job description:
The role requires extensive management of Plant and machinery including new tool developement & Industrial Engineering practices. Brief responsibilities are as given below
- Annual Preventive Maintenance planning
- Monthly PPM based on Sales & Production plan for the month
- Planning of OPEX including PLH, Spares & Consumables
- Resource allocation for PPM and routine shift management
- Monitoring of PLH and taking appropriate actions to reduce unit cost
- Training and developement of team members
- Material indenting & ERP up-dation
- Providing support for plant inspections by various clients
- Monitoring E&M KPIs, reviewing variances and taking corrective actions
- Liasoning and support for compliances
The goal is to ensure an efficient and cost-effective maintenance management process that meets organisation business requirements.
Your responsibilities:
• Manage and evaluate 3M resources (Man, Machine, Material) to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
• Strive to reduce downtime and increase productivity across all production stages
• Escalate issues or obstacles affecting Sales & Production plan to senior management
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product & Workforce quality
• Liaise with other managers or external agencies to ensure compliances
Knowledge & Skill sets expected:
• 12 plus years’ experience in large scale manufacturing unit (Preference shall be given to those having transformer factory exposure)
• 5 plus years’ experience in a capacity of Lead Manager
• Excellent project planning management skills
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Proven track record of successfully training employees in planning & production
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing process
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Qualification & Experience:
1.BE/B-Tech (Elect/Mech) or Diploma (Elect/Mech)
2.Min 12 years' experience for BE/B-Tech or min 15 years' experience for Diploma
