Position Details:
Clinical Incident & Complaint Management
- Incident aging and closure time.
- Complaint response timeliness and resolution effectiveness.
- Achievement of established service-level agreements (SLAs) for clinical incident investigations and complaint management.
- Escalation response performance and timely engagement of appropriate stakeholders.
- Quality and completeness of documentation, investigation findings, and follow-up actions.
Quality, Risk & Corrective Action Management
- Timely completion and effectiveness of corrective-action plans.
- Reduction in repeat audit findings, clinical incidents, and preventable quality events.
- Audit performance, findings management, and recurrence prevention.
- Quarterly trend analysis and implementation of preventive and quality-improvement actions.
- DNR, clinical-event, and complaint trend reporting with actionable recommendations.
Joint Commission & Accreditation Readiness
- Continuous readiness for Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) certification.
- Successful management of accreditation surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Timely resolution of accreditation findings and corrective actions.
- Ongoing compliance with organizational and regulatory quality standards.
Clinical Governance & Regulatory Compliance
- Compliance with Illinois Supervising RN requirements and all applicable clinical-designation responsibilities.
- Multi-state nursing regulatory compliance and scope-of-practice oversight.
- Timely resolution of nursing practice, licensure, and regulatory inquiries.
- Effectiveness of clinical governance processes and risk-management activities.
Workforce Quality & Clinical Support
- Clinical-screening effectiveness and quality of clinician assessment processes.
- Development and maintenance of competency standards across applicable clinical disciplines.
- Support of recruiting, operations, compliance, and client-service teams through timely clinical consultation.
- Effectiveness of DNR and clinician-performance review processes.
Client Partnership & Service Excellence
- Client satisfaction with clinical support and consultation.
- Responsiveness to client clinical concerns, escalations, and quality inquiries.
- Quality of executive clinical participation in client meetings, QBRs, and strategic workforce discussions.
- Effectiveness of partnerships with hospital nursing leaders, hiring managers, and client stakeholders.
