[What the role is]
The Health Promotion Board’s vision is to make Singapore a nation of healthier people.
Come be a part of this journey if you’re passionate about creating boundary-pushing work that drives behavioral change.
You will be part of HPB’s Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, dedicated to making active living a cornerstone of daily life. The department empowers residents to stay active by providing the knowledge, opportunities, and support needed to build sustainable habits. The department designs and delivers impactful programmes, from physical activity initiatives to literacy and community-driven efforts, ensuring residents have the knowledge and opportunities to stay active. By partnering with government agencies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, it expands access to inclusive, high-quality physical activity options across daily routines and leisure time. Grounded in evidence informed, data-driven insights and capability development, the department evolves its strategies and work to drive participation, enhance well-being, and embed active living as a way of life.
[What you will be working on]
As a key member of Physical Activity Division, you will play an integral role in shaping and advancing HPB’s physical activity agenda, ensuring that strategies are evidence-based, coherent, and aligned with national health priorities. You will drive the division's planning cycle end to end, from developing workplans and strategic frameworks to tracking progress and preparing insights that inform senior management decisions. Keeping a close eye on the evolving local and global physical activity landscape, you will surface emerging trends and translate them into actionable recommendations that keep the division's work relevant and impactful. Beyond planning, you will build and sustain meaningful partnerships across government, community, and industry — coordinating joint initiatives, aligning shared priorities, and ensuring that HPB's physical activity programmes reach and resonate with Singaporeans across all walks of life.
