About this role

We're BlueCat—a Great Place to Work for good reason. Our team solves critical network challenges for some of the world's largest organizations. In simple terms, we manage the systems that keep networks running smoothly, securely, and reliably—the backbone infrastructure that powers digital transformation for enterprises globally. Our Intelligent Network Operations platform delivers and enables AI-driven agentic ops at scale, automating and simplifying how companies manage, secure, and optimize their networks.

But what makes us different is how we work: we believe great work happens in an environment where you're trusted, heard, and supported. With teams globally, we're building a workplace culture that values collaboration and integrity as much as innovation. If you're looking to advance your career with a company that invests in its people, this is it.

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and technically fluent Senior Manager, Sales Operations to lead sales planning, incentive compensation, and operational improvement. This role will own territory, quota, and capacity planning; strengthen commission operations in partnership with Finance; simplify pre-sales processes; and translate business needs into scalable systems and data solutions.

Partnering closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, Business Planning & Analytics, Systems, and Enablement, this leader will combine hands-on execution with strong process and systems expertise to improve accuracy, efficiency, and seller productivity. The role will also identify practical opportunities to use automation and AI to reduce manual work and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead territory design, quota allocation, and capacity planning to align sales resources with market opportunity and revenue objectives.
  • Support pipeline management and forecasting through consistent processes, operating cadences, and data-quality improvements.
  • Lead incentive compensation operations, including plan administration, crediting, validation, reconciliations, and disputes, in partnership with Finance, which owns payouts.
  • Simplify and standardize pre-sales processes—from lead handoff through quoting and approvals—clarifying ownership, handoffs, and controls.
  • Partner with Systems and the Salesforce Administrator to translate business needs into clear functional and data requirements, prioritize enhancements, and lead user acceptance testing and business validation.
  • Establish operational data controls, reconciliations, and exception-management processes for territories, quotas, hierarchies, attainment, and commissions.
  • Partner with Business Planning & Analytics to define reporting requirements and identify risks and opportunities across planning, pipeline, productivity, and compensation.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to reduce manual work, improve decision-making, and increase seller productivity.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations, preferably supporting a B2B SaaS or technology sales organization.
  • Hands-on experience with territory design, quota allocation, capacity planning, forecasting, and annual sales-planning cycles.
  • Experience supporting incentive compensation operations, including crediting, validation, reconciliations, adjustments, and dispute resolution.
  • Proven ability to simplify and standardize complex sales processes and deliver measurable operational improvements.
  • Strong Salesforce and systems fluency, including experience translating business needs into requirements and leading user acceptance testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile inconsistent data and diagnose process, data, and system issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Finance, Analytics, Systems, and Enablement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance strategic improvement work with hands-on execution.
  • Experience leveraging automation, AI, and data-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and seller effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

This position offers a salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 CAD per year plus participation in a discretionary bonus plan. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and qualifications. The role is for an existing vacancy.
