About this role

JoVE is the world-leading producer and provider of video solutions with the mission to improve scientific research and education. Millions of scientists, educators and students use JoVE for their research, teaching and learning. Our institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to build the K-12 demand engine in the US. The role is accountable for generating marketing qualified leads, converting them into sales qualified opportunities, and delivering sourced pipeline. K-12 is a new growth segment for JoVE and you'll establish how we reach this market with the scope to grow into ownership of the function as the segment scales.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads for the K-12 segment, moving prospects from initial interest to MQL to SQL, and partner closely with sales on handoff, follow-up, and conversion
  • Drive awareness and engagement among teachers, curriculum leads, and district administrators through targeted campaigns
  • Plan and run our presence at education conferences and events — booth logistics, materials, lead capture, and post-event nurture that converts leads into qualified opportunities
  • Produce and deliver marketing materials for K-12 audiences: campaign assets, collateral, email, web, and social content
  • Optimize marketing strategy based on funnel performance, audience insight, and market feedback
  • Monitor campaign impact and ROI — track cost per lead, MQL-to-SQL conversion, and pipeline contribution, and use what you learn to sharpen the next campaign

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in a marketing role, ideally in EdTech selling into schools or districts
  • A track record of generating qualified leads and pipeline, with the numbers to back it up
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar)
  • Event and conference marketing experience, with a focus on lead capture and conversion
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and events
  • Self-directed, results driven and organized

Benefits

  • You can expect competitive compensation.
  • You will make a direct impact in improving student learning in science education.
  • Opportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.
  • Our strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
