About this role

Inside the Role

The Senior Painter - Cab Paint is responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to truck cabs while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with industrial painting techniques, and a commitment to delivering a first-class product.

We Take Care of Our Team

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass paint physical.
  • Must pass respiratory physical.
  • Must be able to completely apply Topcoat and Clear coat to all parts of truck and meet corporate quality appearance criteria.
  • Must be able to climb ladders without restrictions to paint roofs of cabs.
  • Must be able to work in Team Environment
  • Must be able to rotate in painting different parts of cabs.
  • Must be able to always wear fresh air hood and suit when applying topcoat or working in paint booths.
  • Must follow all safety related procedures when disposing of waste and hazardous material.
  • Must be able to use required hand tools and paint equipment.
  • Must be able to use supplied power tools in assigned task assembly.
  • Must be able to key production processes at required pace.
  • Complete spot repairs
  • Prep for Paint, blend and clear within cycle time
  • Repair dents, work with Bondo and tiger hair, able to feather out sanded bodywork in cycle time.
  • Panel paint within cycle time
  • Tear down and build up painted parts without damage.
  • An attached resume
