Position Overview

The Platform Engineer will help build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software. Work closely with development, and operations teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and improve deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Ansible, and passionate about automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.
  • Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development and deployment.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

CWIP: IAT Level 1
Tech Experience: Linux
Years of Experience: Degree preferred, at least 10 years of experience

 

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
