035090 Senior Production Planner Lead (Continous Improvement Projects) (Open)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Planner Lead (Continous Improvement Projects) to lead production planning activities while driving operational improvement across the plant. This role is suited for a senior planner who can manage production schedules, lead the planning team, improve process flows, and support OEE improvement projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and able to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, on-time, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production planning and scheduling activities across multiple products or lines.
• Prioritize production to meet customer demand, delivery targets, and operational needs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material planning to support production requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Lead and support the production planning team.
• Drive OEE improvement projects and identify opportunities to improve operational process flows.
• Work closely with Production, Sales, QA, Maintenance, Logistics, and Procurement.
• Prepare and review planning, performance, and status reports.
• Support continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.

Experience and Education

• Diploma or above in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in a senior planner or team lead role is preferred.
• Experience in process improvement or operational excellence initiatives is an advantage.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource planning, and scheduling.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and process flows.
• Experience with OEE improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma is preferred.
