Job Description:
Develop and design test automation solutions. Automation test solutions involve activities such as: maintainability, reliability, separation of test code and test data, recovering from unexpected run-time events, synchronizing test cases with the application under test, and providing meaningful test result.
Analyze test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other test documentation.
Learn, assess, analyze, and research test automation processes in collaboration with other QA and dev teams to automate test procedures. Determine if testing can be automated.
Determine and share new methodologies.
Apply a consistent and repeatable methodology to the testing of software to maintain quality standards for company products.
Make recommendations to processes and standards.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Collaborate with team members on quality improvements (i.e., testing methods, tools, automation). Make recommendations to quality processes.
Provide metrics for test results.
Mentor less experienced members when applicable.
Coordinate the execution of test plans among the QA team members for all new content added to all web solutions each sprint.
Pre-qualify every production release deployment by ensuring that all smoke and automation tests have been completed successfully.
*Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.
Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education.
Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time.”
Required expertise/knowledge includes:
Experience with advanced test automation framework development using Selenium;
Proficiency programming in Java and JavaScript; API Testing and Mastery: experience using Postman and automating
API testing using JavaScript; CI/CD Integration and DevOps Tooling using Jenkins and GitHub;
Performance and Load Testing using JMeter;
Experience with the following distributed version control system: Git;
Experience with mobile testing for IOS and Android devices using Sauce Labs;
Experience with test case management using TestRail; Experience using Jira for backlog management.
Job Site: Location, Inc. Group Corporation (dba Cotality) – 40 Pacifica, Suite 900, Irvine, CA 92618.
40 hours/week. $107,200 - $150,100/year. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE. Position eligible for Employee Referral Program.
