Senior Research Engineer AI Speech Enhancement

About this role

A Moving Experience.

Daily Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced, robust DNN-based speech enhancement solutions for automotive applications and adjacent domains such as healthcare, robotics, and home entertainment
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable tools and workflows for training and evaluating DNN models
  • Support business development by creating proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and participating in customer demonstrations
  • Drive the integration of new technologies into production-ready products and solutions
  • Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies and competitive offerings
  • Mentor and supervise interns and master’s students
  • Contribute to the company’s IP portfolio by drafting and supporting patent applications


Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry experience in one or more of these domains is considered an advantage.

Minimum years of work experience: 3

Required skills: 

  • Proven experience in developing and training machine learning models, particularly deep neural networks (DNNs)
  • Strong expertise in digital signal processing, with a focus on speech and audio processing
  • Solid programming skills in C and Python
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Positive, proactive mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken
