An experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance real-time software solutions for medical technology products. The role requires strong expertise in C++, C#, software architecture, and modern development tools in a Windows environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust real-time software applications using C++, C# and WPF.
- Lead software design activities and apply industry-standard design patterns and architectural principles.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle from requirements through verification and release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers, QA, product management, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Drive code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement practices.
- Support troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance of deployed products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with C++ development.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with C# development.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience developing real-time software systems.
- experience with .NET desktop application development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows OS.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio.
- Experience developing and debugging multi-threaded software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-based applications and services in enterprise environments.
- Medical device or healthcare industry experience.
- Knowledge of regulated software development environments and procedures.
