The Position

The Marketing Specialist role is an important role in the extending of Organon’s foundation and presence in Romania and Hungary and in innovating the way we collaborate and interact within other cluster markets by working with customers and creating state-of-the-art marketing programs for Organon portfolio.

This person will be responsible for driving direct interaction based on face-to-face and digital marketing campaigns across therapeutic areas, recognized HCPs or variety of stakeholders in Romania and Hungary. Person performing the role will be expected to deliver on marketing plan, programs and activities for Organon portfolio by utilizing different channels. The deliverable should be based on the key components of the Agile way of working, collaboration within an international team and data-driven mindset, both to improve Organon’s position and to reach business results.

The Marketing Specialist will be focused on ideation and governance of campaigns for defined Rx therapeutic areas and brands in Romania, via optimizing promotional capabilities and showing a good understanding of markets’ landscape, competitors and business trends for the country execution activites and to ensure campaigns and projects will be properly planned, executed, optimized, measured, and reported.

The person could be also exposed on cluster level (Europe Eastern & Israel) with a keen focus on enabling synergies between markets, to set up cluster readiness and drive the cluster strategy for specific product or therapeutic area. She/He will work closely with several stakeholders across the entire internal cross-functional team in Romania and Hungary as well in the Cluster, Region or Global level.

Omnichannel Lead is responsible for designing and executing integrated omnichannel strategies across multiple brands within a cluster. This role ensures a seamless, data-driven customer experience across all touchpoints (HCPs, patients, and stakeholders), maximizing engagement, brand performance, and commercial impact while maintaining full compliance with pharma regulations.

This position reports into Associate Director, Marketing Lead EEI

Role reports to the Cluster Marketing Lead and operates as a close sparring partner for the Country Sales Leads, other Marketing Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access and commercial, non-commercial staff.

Responsibilities

Country level:

  • Innovating the way we collaborate and interact within other cluster markets by working with customers and creating state-of-the-art marketing programs for Organon portfolio.
  • Constantly stay ahead of the latest marketing trends and technologies to guide long-term strategy while always staying focused on the execution of efficient campaigns.
  • Ensure that deliverables are based on the key components of agile way of working, collaboration within an international team is seamless and decisions are data-driven, all to improve Organon’s position and business results.
  • Building and maintaining long term relationships with experts, key opinion leaders and other recognized stakeholders for the business success of market and cluster.
  • Establishing brand/s strategy and country tactics, creating and assessing business cases, measuring investment and sales force effectiveness, the success of campaigns, implementing measures for continuous optimization of sales forces and business effectiveness in a market and promoting the switch to the digitalization of processes in the marketing environment with the help of technology.
  • Drive the cluster strategy for specific product(s) or therapeutic area(s), ensuring coherence between cluster direction and country execution, including:
  • Act as a key contributor to the development and rollout of the cluster brand and franchise strategy, in close collaboration with cluster and country Marketing Managers.
  • Coordinate the cascade of cluster strategy to countries, supporting adaptation to local market needs while safeguarding brand consistency and strategic intent.
  • Review and approve cluster promotional materials in English prior to local adaptation, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, positioning, and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with country Marketing Managers to support in‑market forecasting for the assigned brand(s) or therapeutic area(s), ensuring consistency of assumptions and visibility at cluster level.
  • Track availability, use, and gaps of approved promotional content across countries within the cluster, supporting prioritization and efficient reuse of materials.
  • Consolidate and present brand or franchise performance at cluster level in different governance forums, including cluster and global reviews, as required.
  • Enable cross‑country knowledge sharing and best‑practice exchange to strengthen execution quality and accelerate learning across the cluster.
  • Project management within different marketing channels e.g., emails, websites, approved emails, headquarter emails, remote meetings or other.

Cluster Omnichannel:

 

Omnichannel Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement omnichannel strategies across multiple brands in the cluster
  • Align channel mix (digital, field force, media, CRM, events) with brand and business objectives
  • Translate global strategies into local execution plans
  • Ensure consistent and integrated customer journeys across channels

Campaign Orchestration & Execution

  • Lead cross-channel campaign planning and execution (email, websites, webinars, rep-triggered communications, etc.)
  • Ensure coordination between marketing, medical, sales, and digital teams
  • Manage personalization and segmentation strategies

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Design end-to-end customer journeys for HCPs and patients
  • Optimize engagement across touchpoints using data and insights
  • Ensure a seamless and compliant experience across online and offline channels

Data, Analytics & Insights

  • Define KPIs and success metrics for omnichannel activities
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer engagement data
  • Generate actionable insights to continuously optimize strategies
  • Leverage CRM and marketing automation platforms

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key partner to Brand Managers, Medical, Sales, and Market Access teams
  • Collaborate with regional/global teams to ensure alignment
  • Manage external agencies and vendors

Technology & Innovation

  • Drive adoption of digital tools (CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms)
  • Identify and implement innovative omnichannel solutions
  • Ensure best-in-class use of digital channels and emerging technologies

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all omnichannel activities comply with pharma regulations and company policies
  • Work closely with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams
  • Maintain high standards for data privacy and consent management

    Internal Collaboration

    • Strong collaboration with Commercial, Market Access, Sales and other respective teams to support corporate and business strategy.
    • Proactive support to properly manage the product or portfolio, with the approach aligned to product life cycle management and recognized business opportunities
    • Consulting of the finance department for forecasting purposes, pricing assumptions preparation.
    • Assures an involvement of all relevant key stakeholders to develop and implement Organon EEI marketing strategies.

    Required Education, Experience, and Skills  

    • Completed studies in marketing, business or a comparable qualification.
    • More than 5 years of professional experience leading marketing programs, concept development, implementation, and control of marketing activities (digital activities) at a pharmaceutical company or agency.
    • Experienced in work across different therapeutic areas including any of them:, Contraceptives, Fertility, Respiratory, Dermatology, Cardiovascular, Pain, Migraine, Bone, Neurology, OTC products and in a competitive, crowded business environment.
    • Highly proficient in data-driven project management of marketing initiatives and strong analytical skills, the ability to solve complex problems and drive change.
    • High level of understanding of customer engagement opportunities & strategies in the traditional face-to-face, digital landscape and e-commerce.
    • Creative and have a good understanding of customers’ needs and new trends, evolution with a core drive to innovate and experiment with marketing campaigns.
    • Empathic interaction with people, networking, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills are important.
    • Ability to work in a complex and multi-market setting, across many functions and levels and across different customer types.
    • Flexible and dynamic to adapt and succeed in a rapidly changing environment. Able to work independently and collaboratively with an open mindset.
    • Fluency in Romanian and English.

    Education / Experience

    • Master’s degree in life sciences, marketing, (para-)medical, economics.
    • Minimum 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Proven track record in Marketing or Medical would.
    • Experience in Digital Marketing

    • Project management and effective organization skills.

    This position requires readiness to travel across the country and Cluster - up to 10-20% travel
