About this role

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist to join our Recovery and Resolution Forecasting team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative forecasts, including data gathering supporting analysis, related to the firm’s liquidity and capital risk 

  • Manage and enhance processes that quantify, review, and explain financial and risk insights across products and businesses, including developing and integrating AI-powered solutions

  • Assist in ad hoc strategic risk assessments and analysis for senior management

  • Develop analytics for senior stakeholders, driving actionable insights that power balance sheet and funding decision-making

  • Interact with stakeholders across departments to facilitate timely liquidity and capital management and build a broad range of knowledge

  • Partner with Treasury experts to align reporting with corporate strategy and initiatives

  • Maintain process controls, documentation, and risk assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance

     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience required. Experience in Corporate Treasury / Finance Management & Analysis / Planning & Analysis / CFO team in a financial services firm preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of balance sheet, income statement, liquidity, and/or capital management

  • Strong organizational skills and proactive nature (expected to drive creative solutioning without significant guidance)

  • Strong analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 

  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, SQL
