Job Summary:
The Senior Supervisor – MEP will be responsible for overseeing on-site MEP activities, including Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire-Fighting installations, to ensure they are executed as per drawings and quality standards. This role involves coordination with civil teams, labor management, and close integration with Mivan shuttering and construction techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Site Supervision
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day MEP works at site (Electrical panels, plumbing lines, drainage, fire-fighting lines, etc.)
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved GFC drawings, method statements, and quality standards
- Coordinate with civil supervisors to integrate services with Mivan shuttering and slab/wall casting schedules
📐 Drawing Understanding
- Interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and service coordination diagrams
- Mark service locations on site (for sleeves, embedded conduits, etc.) and ensure timely execution
- Report drawing mismatches and installation challenges to the site engineer
🛠️ Workforce & Material Management
- Supervise skilled and unskilled manpower, ensuring output, discipline, and safety
- Coordinate availability of required materials, fittings, tools, and machinery
- Maintain stock of consumables and request replenishments as required
✅ Quality & Safety
- Conduct visual inspections and pre-checks before and during installation
- Ensure that MEP installations meet required specifications, codes, and standards
- Enforce safety protocols, PPE compliance, and safe work practices at site
📊 Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress records, checklists, and activity logs
- Record measurement sheets and support in contractor billing verification
- Support in documentation for testing, commissioning, and statutory inspections
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Systems
- Experience in high-rise construction and Mivan methodology is preferred
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings, safety protocols, and site documentation
Key Skills:
- Strong practical knowledge in at least one of the domains: Electrical / Plumbing / Fire Fighting
- Ability to coordinate MEP services with structural and architectural elements
- Manpower handling, task allocation, and daily supervision skills
- Awareness of Mivan technology service planning and embedment needs
- Commitment to quality and safety compliance
