Senior System Validation Engineer
About this role
As Senior System Validation Engineer you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing system-level validation activities to ensure products meet functional, performance, and reliability requirements. The role involves hands-on testing and debugging of integrated systems, developing test strategies, analyzing results, and driving issue resolution in collaboration with hardware, software, and system teams.
The position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to improve validation processes through automation and efficiency enhancements. Senior System Validation Engineers play a key role in validating product quality and supporting successful product release.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop system-level validation plans, test strategies, and test cases based on product requirements.
- Execute validation activities covering functionality, performance, stress, and corner-case scenarios.
- Analyze test results and ensure proper documentation of outcomes.
- Set up and maintain lab environments, test benches, and measurement setups.
- Perform detailed debugging and root cause analysis of system-level failures.
- Work with design teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, and system architecture teams to ensure full test coverage.
- Support integration activities and system bring-up.
- Communicate validation status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validation frameworks.
- Improve validation efficiency through tool development and process optimization.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to interpret validation results.
- Ensure validation aligns with quality standards and internal processes.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in system validation.
- Strong understanding of system-level interactions (hardware and software).
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with analog/mixed-signal or embedded systems.
- Programming/scripting skills (Python, C/C++).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience in regulated industries (automotive).
