The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Transformer Services Sales Specialist to strengthen our Transformer Services business across the Benelux region. In this role, you will drive service growth across a large installed base of power and distribution transformers.

You will collaborate closely with customers to enhance asset reliability, extend equipment lifetime, and ensure grid availability—positioning Hitachi Energy as a trusted long-term partner in the evolving energy landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive service revenue growth by promoting transformer lifecycle services, including maintenance, upgrades, refurbishments, and long-term service agreements

  • Identify and develop service opportunities across both OEM and selected non-OEM transformer installations

  • Manage the full sales cycle: from opportunity identification and solution development to tendering, negotiation, and contract closure

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including asset managers, maintenance teams, engineering teams, and procurement

  • Translate technical customer needs into clear, value-driven service offerings

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce

  • Ensure smooth handover to execution teams and contribute to high customer satisfaction

  • Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion within existing accounts and new customers

  • Support the growth of new service offerings, including digital solutions, lifecycle extensions, and sustainability upgrades

  • Contribute to installed base mapping, account planning, and regional growth initiatives

  • Provide structured market insights to support portfolio development and go-to-market strategies

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in service sales within transformers, high-voltage equipment, or power grid environments

  • Strong understanding of transformer and substation asset lifecycles

  • Demonstrated success in selling technical services and long-term service agreements

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working across multiple countries or regions (Benelux experience is a plus)

  • Willingness to travel across the region
