About this role

About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the Role

Polymarket is hiring a Senior Treasury Manager to own the day-to-day treasury function across our regulated entities — a DCM and DCO registered with the CFTC. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who has managed liquidity, banking relationships, and settlement in a regulated financial environment and wants to help build a treasury operation from the ground up.

You'll safeguard member and customer funds, manage the movement of fiat and stablecoin across our platform, and partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Product, Payments, and our regulators to ensure we always meet DCM/DCO financial resource and segregation requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Own daily cash and liquidity management across bank accounts, custodians, and settlement rails, maintaining accurate real-time visibility into fiat and stablecoin balances

  • Safeguard customer and member funds in accordance with CFTC segregation and DCO financial resource requirements, including daily reconciliation and maintenance of segregated and secured accounts

  • Manage settlement, margin, and collateral flows between the exchange, clearinghouse, members, and banking partners, ensuring funds are available to meet obligations without exception

  • Build and maintain cash-flow forecasting models to support liquidity planning, capital adequacy, and regulatory financial resource calculations

  • Own banking and custodial relationships — account opening, KYC/onboarding, service negotiation, and escalation — across traditional banks, fintechs, and digital-asset custodians

  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to prepare and support regulatory filings, financial resource reports, and examinations, and respond to regulator and auditor requests

  • Design, document, and enforce treasury controls, policies, and procedures, including approval workflows, segregation of duties, and fraud-prevention controls over payment operations

  • Manage FX exposure and short-term investment of eligible funds within approved policy and regulatory constraints

  • Partner with Engineering and Finance Ops to build tooling for reconciliation, treasury reporting, and payment operations at scale

  • Support month-end close, audit, and financial reporting through accurate treasury reconciliations and documentation

What We're Looking For

  • 7–10+ years of progressive treasury experience, ideally within an exchange, clearinghouse, broker-dealer, FCM, bank, or regulated fintech/digital-asset platform

  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of cash management, liquidity forecasting, settlement, and banking operations, with a track record of managing significant daily flows

  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing customer funds — CFTC segregation rules, DCM/DCO financial resource requirements, or comparable frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to build treasury processes, controls, and reporting from an early stage rather than simply operating an established function

  • Comfort operating across both traditional finance and digital assets, including familiarity with stablecoins, custody, and on-chain settlement

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a control mindset — you treat the safeguarding of customer funds as non-negotiable

  • Excellent partner to Compliance, Legal, and external regulators and auditors; able to translate treasury operations into clear regulatory narratives

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • (Plus) CTP, CFA, MBA, or CPA

  • (Plus) Prior experience standing up or operating treasury at a newly regulated DCM, DCO, or exchange

  • (Plus) Experience with treasury management systems, ERP integrations, and reconciliation automation

  • (Plus) Familiarity with prediction markets, derivatives, or event-contract products

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage

  • 401k match

  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
