Partner with licensing, portfolio, legal, finance, operations, faculty, entrepreneurs-in-residence, and venture leadership to move opportunities toward NewCo formation or institutional separation.
Support pitch preparation, financial scenarios, investor materials, and early go-to-market thinking.
What Will Help You Be Successful
Ability to evaluate both the scientific/technical basis and the commercial potential of life science assets.
Comfort discussing cap tables, valuation mechanics, capital pathways, and investor fit.
Experience building or stress-testing early business cases, market sizing, competitive positioning, and value creation narratives.
Confidence presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and decision-making groups.
Ability to work independently in a newer, evolving venture development structure.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in startup formation, venture development, commercialization, venture capital, or innovation-driven operating environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Experience with startup formation, venture capital, or early-stage commercialization.
Helpful experience includes pharma, biotech, therapeutics, biologics, cell and gene therapy, business development, technology transfer, venture analysis, or early-stage life science company formation.
