The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. Welding & Fabrication
Perform MIG, TIG, spot welding, and other welding processes as required for sheet metal products.
Fabricate, assemble, and weld sheet metal components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and fixtures safely and efficiently.
Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing work as required.
Quality Control
Conduct visual inspections and basic dimensional checks on welded assemblies.
Identify and correct welding defects and fabrication issues.
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and industry standards.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance personnel to resolve production and quality concerns.
Leadership & Training
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior welders and fabrication team members.
Assist supervisors in training new employees on welding techniques, safety practices, and quality requirements.
Support production planning and workflow coordination to meet delivery schedules.
Safety & Maintenance
Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Recommend improvements to welding methods, tooling, and production processes.
Assist in reducing rework, scrap, and downtime.
Qualifications
Technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of welding experience in a sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Experience leading or mentoring welding teams is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, spot welding, and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection methods.
Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Comfortable working in environments involving heat, noise, and welding fumes while following safety procedures.

May require overtime, shift work, or weekend work based on production requirements.
