Service Now IRM/GRC Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow GRC modules including Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Audit Management, Issue Management, and Vendor Risk Management (VRM).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports.
• Configure risk assessments, risk scoring models, controls, and remediation processes.
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, release management, and testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and end users while ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Jelly, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, ACLs, and Flow Designer.
• Practical experience with IRM/GRC modules including Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Issue Management, and Vendor Risk Management.
• Experience configuring data models, assessments, workflows, risk calculations, and process automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations, Import Sets, Transform Maps, MID Server, and external system integrations.
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, risk heat maps, Performance Analytics, ATF testing, and security/compliance best practices.
• Good experience with UI Builder and Workspace configurations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio and Flow Designer.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow IRM/GRC architecture and data models.
• Experience handling platform patching and upgrades, including IRM/GRC release enhancements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CSA – Certified System Administrator
• CAD – Certified Application Developer
• CIS – ITSM
• CIS – Risk & Compliance (R&C)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
