We are currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to support the day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory management, and handling of IT equipment for our managed services and customer deployment programs. This is a hands-on operational role that requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to accuracy. The successful candidate will receive incoming shipments, prepare outbound orders, maintain inventory records, and ensure hardware assets are tracked and processed efficiently. What you will do

1. Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments from vendors, customers, and courier partners.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damage.
  • Prepare and package hardware and accessories for shipment to customers, employees, and project sites.
  • Generate shipping labels and coordinate pickups with courier providers.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide updates to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure all shipments are packaged securely and professionally.

2. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories, and other technology assets.
  • Label and organize inventory within designated storage areas.
  • Record serial numbers, asset tags, quantities, and storage locations in company systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs.

3. Hardware Handling & Processing

  • Assist with receiving, sorting, staging, and organizing hardware assets.
  • Perform basic visual inspections to identify damaged or missing equipment.
  • Verify contents of returned equipment shipments against packing lists or records.
  • Prepare hardware for storage, deployment, redeployment, or disposal following established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory and staging areas.

4. Documentation & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and received goods.
  • Update tracking systems with relevant asset and shipment information.
  • Complete documentation related to shipping, receiving, inventory transfers, and returns.
  • Follow established operational procedures and documentation standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and provide feedback to leadership.

5. Internal Coordination & Customer Service

  • Work closely with Service Delivery and Sales Teams to fulfill hardware requests.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries regarding shipment status and inventory availability.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure equipment is available to support project and customer requirements.
  • Support the smooth flow of equipment throughout the organization.



We would love to hear from you if you have

  • 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related role.
  • Experience handling inventory, stock control, or physical asset tracking.
  • Experience preparing and packaging shipments for courier or freight transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow documented processes and procedures consistently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using inventory, shipping, warehouse, or tracking systems is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move computer equipment and packages.
  • Experience coordinating courier shipments through providers such as Purolator, FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in technology, operations, logistics, or asset management.
