5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development, database programming, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Build scalable and efficient database solutions with a strong focus on performance.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize slow-running queries and database workloads.
- Design and implement database schemas that support evolving business requirements.
- Develop ETL/data processing routines and automate database operations where appropriate.
- Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust database solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and privacy best practices are followed.
- Review, refactor, and improve existing SQL code for maintainability and efficiency.
- Participate in technical discussions, contribute ideas, and evaluate alternative approaches to solving problems.
- Stay current with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of SQL development experience
- Python for scripting, automation, or data processing
- Database Performance Tuning
- Experience troubleshooting production database issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good to Have
