The role:

We are seeking for a Sourcing Lead to drive strategic sourcing excellence across our integrated Facilities Management services portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of FM procurement, leading complex, multi-category sourcing programs for our diverse commercial and retail tenant clients while building capability within a high-performing team.

As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you'll partner with our Head of Sourcing to develop and execute category strategies that deliver measurable value, drive innovation, and maintain service excellence across JLL's client base.

The successful candidate will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney with ability to attend the office in the CBD at least three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing programs across FM services categories, from market analysis and supplier evaluation through to negotiation, contract management, and performance optimisation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, account teams, and senior stakeholders, providing strategic counsel on procurement matters and presenting sourcing outcomes with commercial clarity
  • Develop and execute innovative category strategies tailored to commercial and retail environments, identifying market trends and translating insights into competitive sourcing solutions
  • Negotiate critical, complex supply arrangements and manage high-value contract negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings, value improvement, and risk mitigation
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-7 sourcing professionals, fostering continuous improvement and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across the portfolio
  • Support bid and business development activities by developing compelling sourcing strategies, serving as liaison between sourcing and bid teams, and contributing procurement expertise to win strategies
  • Transform data and market intelligence into actionable insights, delivering comprehensive reporting on procurement activity, results, value creation, and supply chain risk management
  • Provide leadership support to the Head of Sourcing, stepping into expanded responsibilities as needed and ensuring continuity of senior procurement expertise across the business

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7-10 years of progressive procurement experience with proven expertise in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation, including 3-5 years in a leadership or senior specialist role
  • Deep knowledge of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and FM services procurement, particularly in commercial and retail environments, with demonstrated success managing complex integrated outsourcing programs
  • Proven track record managing procurement activities for multiple clients simultaneously, delivering cost savings and value improvement while maintaining service excellence
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, and relationship management capabilities, with the ability to inspire teams, guide stakeholder relationships, and resolve complex vendor escalations
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen, including experience with financial modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, and contract management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels and present complex procurement concepts with clarity
  • Self-starter with strong project management capabilities, able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments and work according to Agile principles
  • Business/Commerce degree or equivalent tertiary qualification; professional procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM) and experience in commercial property or retail sectors highly regarded
