GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Spare Parts Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) Leader to join our Aero Alliance team based in Florence (Italy), Cincinnati (United States), or Houston (United States).

Let’s Talk about the Role
The Spare Parts Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) Leader will oversee the end-to-end planning and forecasting processes for aeroderivative hardware spares to ensure optimal supply chain performance across internal shops and external customers.
You will act as the strategic link between demand and supply, orchestrating activities across the Aero Alliance joint venture. Your focus will be on driving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory levels, and fostering seamless collaboration with our primary parts vendors. By leveraging data and digital tools, you will identify risks before they impact our operations, ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time to support our global fleet.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Driving consistent demand/supply balance by converting forecasts into actionable order plans aligned with business inventory targets.
- Building robust planning models and safety stock policies to mitigate supply risks and improve service levels.
- Creating strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and external vendors to monitor forecast variations and implement corrective actions.
- Leading the Supply Management Review for materials, providing critical insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Fostering continuous improvement by collaborating with Digital Technology to refine S&OP tools and forecasting methodologies.
- Collaborating with repair shop leaders and program managers to proactively adjust strategies for unplanned shop visits and new product introductions.
- Improving process efficiency through the implementation of standard work and the tracking of key performance metrics.

- The ability to develop and maintain complex planning models that translate data into business strategy.
- The capability to communicate clearly and concisely and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- An understanding of supply chain dynamics, including Integrated Business Planning and inventory management.
- An expertise in identifying process gaps and implementing sustainable, data-driven solutions.
- A keen interest in leveraging digital technology and Lean methodology to optimize operational workflows.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements within supply chain, operations, or planning functions.

A Collective Bargaining Agreement (‘CBA’ - Metalworking) is applicable in relation to position. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale, which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

• 50% for office staff and non-shift production workers for overtime worked between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM
• 50% for shift production workers for overtime worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
Night overtime Saturday, Sunday and public holidays:
• First eight hours: 60% for office staff, 55% for non-shift production workers, 60% for shift production workers
• Beyond eight hours: 75% for office staff, 65% for non-shift production workers, 75% for shift production workers
In case of compensatory time off, the premiums provided for under the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) apply.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $69,100 - $103,700 USD. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
