Job Description
Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Main responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices.
Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
Participate in month-end closing activities according to the reporting schedule.
Respond to supplier inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.
Ensure accurate and timely handling of Accounts Payable tasks.
Ensure Accounts Payable documentation and work instructions are kept accurate and up to date.
Continuously evaluate Accounts Payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.
Main requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
Fluency in English (to communicate with colleagues across Europe) and Latvian, both written and spoken
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A precise, analytical, organized, and stress-resistant personality.
A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong team-player attitude.
Previous accounting experience will be considered an advantage.
