In this role, as a Spend Management Consulting Manager, you will be the linchpin for spend management project implementations, providing strategic insights and expertise. Your passion and motivation will be instrumental in guiding clients through configuring and implementing their spend management solutions. You'll be expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement, business process optimization, and change management. Essential to your success will be your strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills, coupled with adaptability, a client-focused approach, and a drive for innovation. Your role is not just about technical know-how but also about inspiring your team, leading by example, and being a catalyst for change, ensuring consulting excellence within Huron's Spend Management team.
Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience with procurement, payables, and contract lifecycle management applications (e.g., Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba)
A minimum of 5 years of procurement and payables related experience, either in a consultative or substantial operational role.
Full cycle implementation expertise
A minimum of 4 years of experience with Spend Management, Procurement experience
Familiarity with the Higher Education space is a plus
Strong experience with the Microsoft Office suite
Experience in leading and managing complex projects, in technology implementations or assessments.
Strong customer presence with client executive and C-suite
Beyond Microsoft Office, proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
Skills in managing change within an organization, which is crucial for implementing new systems or process adjustments.
Ability to think strategically and align technology solutions with business goals.
Strong customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
U.S. work authorization is required
Flexible living location
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% annually; work extended hours as necessary
The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 - $170,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $174,000 - $204,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
