We are seeking a versatile Sprinkler Service Sales Representative to help expand Fire Sprinkler service opportunities across an assigned territory and account base. In this role, you will connect customers with service solutions that support safety, reliability, and long-term system performance.

Role Overview

This position is focused on professionally representing the company in the promotion and sale of Fire Sprinkler service offerings to customers, general contractors, and end users. You will identify service opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive sales results for sprinkler repairs, modifications, moves, adds, and changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Fire Sprinkler service offerings within assigned territory and accounts.
  • Establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers, and follow up on leads using outlined marketing strategies.
  • Work with the existing service customer base to identify needs for moves, adds, and changes to sprinkler systems.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy that supports understanding of company service offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Read blueprints and apply current NFPA 13 standards and local codes when discussing service opportunities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, general contractors, and end users.
  • Estimate small projects, including day-works as required.
  • Develop new business relationships and help grow the Sprinkler Service business.

How You Will Do It

  • Own your territory with accountability and integrity by managing prospecting, follow-up, and closing activity in a professional and reliable way.
  • Stay close to the customer’s needs by listening carefully, qualifying opportunities, and responding quickly to service requirements.
  • Use blueprints, NFPA 13 standards, and local codes to support clear conversations and practical service recommendations.
  • Improve every day through candor and problem-solving as you estimate work, assess opportunities, and refine your sales approach.
  • Win as one team by collaborating effectively with colleagues, customers, general contractors, and end users.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work effectively.
  • Proficient in personal computers, including Windows Office.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a teammate and collaborate well with others.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints, understanding NFPA 13 standards, and working with local codes.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's licence.

Nice to Have

  • Two years of industry experience.
  • Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations.
  • Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50,000-$75,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
