SR CRM Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior CRM Engineer to join a growing technology team and take a leading role in the design, development and optimisation of CRM solutions.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineer who can combine strong technical expertise with an understanding of business requirements, helping to build scalable CRM solutions that improve processes, integrations and the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable CRM solutions in line with business requirements.
• Lead the technical development and enhancement of existing CRM functionality.
• Build and maintain customisations, workflows, automations and integrations.
• Integrate the CRM platform with internal and third-party applications using APIs and integration services.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance, best practices and support to other engineers within the team.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture and technical decision-making.
• Ensure solutions follow appropriate standards around security, data quality, governance and scalability.
• Support deployments, testing, documentation and ongoing platform improvements.

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience working as a CRM Engineer, CRM Developer or similar technical CRM role.
• Experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise CRM solutions.
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture, data models and business processes.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and connecting CRM platforms with other business systems.
• Strong development and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automation, workflows and platform customisation.
• Understanding of software development best practices, testing and deployment processes.
• Confident working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience taking ownership of technical solutions from initial requirements through to delivery.
• Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers would be advantageous.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
• Cloud platform experience, particularly Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with data migration, reporting or analytics solutions.
• Previous experience contributing to CRM architecture or transformation programmes.
