Sr. Exec - Operations - Paytm Insurance

Delhi NCR, IndiaOn-siteMid · 2+ years

About this role

About the Role : We're looking for a hands-on, generalist operator to own day-to-day operations across insurance products — acting as the execution layer between internal business/product teams and external partner (insurer) tech and ops teams. This is a frontline role for someone who can juggle policy sync issues, compliance tracking, and reporting without needing heavy supervision.

Key Responsibilities
● Daily Operations Management: Own end-to-end daily operations for a suite of products, ensuring smooth functioning across partner-facing workflows.
● Partner Coordination: Liaise with partner insurer tech and ops teams to resolve policy sync issues, data mismatches, and integration gaps; ensure policies remain accurately reflected across systems.
● Policy Compliance: Manage internal policy renewals and endorsements, ensuring all compliance requirements and timelines are met.
● Dashboards & Reporting: Maintain and update operational dashboards (e.g., policy status, sync health, renewal/endorsement tracking) with accuracy and consistency.
● Root Cause Analysis: Drive RCA on operational issues (sync failures, compliance gaps, escalations) and work with relevant teams to close the loop.
● Cross-functional Enablement: Act as the operational point of contact for Business, Product, and Growth teams — surfacing issues, unblocking dependencies, and ensuring timely resolution.
● Data-driven Execution: Use SQL to pull, validate, and analyze data to support day-to-day decision-making and issue diagnosis.

Requirements
● 2+ years of experience in operations, fintech ops, or a similar operations-heavy role.
● Hands-on working knowledge of SQL — must be comfortable querying and validating data independently.
● Strong ownership mindset — comfortable being the "frontline executioner" who drives issues to closure, not just flags them.
● Experience working with external partners/vendors (insurers, technology partners, or similar) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with insurance policy lifecycle (issuance, renewal, endorsement) preferred but not mandatory.
