COMPETENCIES
· Understanding of project management best practices, methodologies, lifecycle.
· Applied knowledge of waterfall and agile project management tools
· Ability to professionally manage self as well as indirectly manage and mentor more junior IT PMO resources.
· A strong self-starter, takes initiative, can easily see the big picture to analyze, summarize, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
· Demonstrated organizational skills.
· Experience with data management, data mapping, data modeling, and governance. Keen understanding of risk management & regulatory demands.
· Experience in Information Technology, including medium to high-level of proficiency related to IT terminology, operations, and functions.
· A consummate professional, a polished presence with the ability to work effectively cross-boundaries with key stakeholders and the leadership team.
· Ability to challenge opinions with confidence and professionalism.
· Collaborative style with ability to quickly build trust and credibility.
· Need to work effectively in a matrix organization/environment.
· Expert PC skills (Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word)
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
· Experience: At least ten years of proven Project Manager experience required.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation; ITIL Foundations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate orally with management co-workers, and non-technical stakeholders is important. Regular use of the telephone, e-mail, and collaboration tools for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect project collateral.
Heavy lifting is not expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally is required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines or measuring tools is required.
