Summary:
Manage and coordinate activities and projects related to assigned account(s). Supervise employees assisting on the account(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the key point of contact with the customer.
Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
Help identify opportunities where Company services fit the customer's ongoing business strategy.
Speak with customers by phone or in person and receive instructions for shipment, storing, delivery, or general processing.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to oversee incoming and outgoing account activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Comply with records of orders, adjust errors, and resolve complaints.
Project changes in account activity and plan labor requirements accordingly. Submit written and/or verbal reports on activity and projected labor expenses.
Handle escalated issues and complaints.
Coordinate billing and special requirements as needed.
Coordinate administration and paper flow of required documents to dock operations.
Communicate with internal and external customers.
Maintain and assign workflow to dock operations.
Handle, coordinate, and follow up on all special projects.
Follow up on all past-due monies related to the account.
Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports.
Process shipments via customer portals.
Update and manage proof of delivery, prepare files for billing.
Communicate with Management any concerns and/or issues that may impact the company.
Communicate with Management any ideas and solutions that may benefit the company.
Other duties as assigned.
Position is full-time and on-site.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Directly supervises Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
•Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in distribution/logistics administration or operations
Experience in over-the-road inbound and outbound transportation administration or operations
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, and service providers
Exceptional problem-solving skills and proven experience in relationship management through business change and growth
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Extremely proficient with MS Office programs and strong overall system skills (YMS, TMS, WMS).

Pay Range:
$110,000-$115,000*
*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
