About the Role
As a Benefits Broker Sr Manager / Manager, you will drive the global commercial strategy across benefits renewals, broker partnerships and vendor ecosystems. You will lead initiatives that optimize pricing, funding models and supplier performance while identifying innovation opportunities that improve business outcomes and employee experience. This role combines commercial acumen, market intelligence and strategic stakeholder engagement to strengthen healthcare, risk and retirement benefit programs. Success is measured through cost optimization, enhanced renewal outcomes, effective broker governance and a future-ready benefits ecosystem.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and execute global commercial strategies for benefits renewals, broker relationships and vendor partnerships.
- Lead broker selection, governance, performance management and transition activities where applicable.
- Analyze market trends, benchmarking data and AI-driven insights to optimize pricing and improve renewal outcomes.
- Drive supplier innovation and conduct ongoing market scans to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Build and evaluate cost models, funding strategies and commercial recommendations supporting benefit programs.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, Communications and country stakeholders to align commercial decisions with governance requirements.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics to assess broker and supplier value, effectiveness and service quality.
- Connect commercial decisions to product design, employee experience objectives and country-specific requirements.
- Define clear ownership and handoff processes between broker management, renewal execution teams and operational stakeholders.
- Leverage data, automation and technology-enabled insights to improve decision-making and strengthen long-term operating models.
What you Bring :
- 8 to 12 years of experience in commercial benefits strategy, broker management, insurance, consulting or vendor relationship management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, risk and retirement benefits, including funding approaches and renewal cycles.
- Experience leading broker selection, governance frameworks and supplier performance management initiatives.
- Advanced analytical skills with expertise in cost modeling, pricing optimization, benchmarking and commercial evaluations.
- Ability to leverage data, AI-enabled insights and market intelligence to influence strategic decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, finance, legal and operational functions.
- Experience evaluating supplier markets, identifying innovation opportunities and delivering commercial recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, professional experience and demonstrated capabilities.
