Job Description and Responsibilities

Orion Steel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager, Treasury to lead and support key treasury functions within our steel manufacturing operations. This strategic role will be responsible for managing daily cash operations, maintaining Treasury Management System, debt compliance and optimization, asset-backed lending facilities, and letters of credit issuance. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial acumen, operational efficiency, knowledge of Kyriba Treasury Management System and strong leadership capabilities, working closely with the VP of Treasury and cross-functional teams across the organization. HQ Treasury provides treasury services to business divisions of the group, maintain and develop cash management units, supervises their respective capital structures, leads capital raise and capital allocation projects. The role of Sr. Treasury Manager is to provide critical support to VP Treasury in key workflows, participate in key projects and supervise activities of Sr. Treasury Analyst and Treasury Analyst of the team.

  • Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting across multiple business units and banking platforms
  • Ensure optimal liquidity management to support operational and capital needs
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure efficient cash flow processes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements
  • Assist in the management and structuring of corporate debt, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, and asset-backed lending
  • Administer and manage borrowing base reporting and compliance under the ABL facility
  • Monitor collateral balances, availability, and utilization to support working capital needs
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external lenders to ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation
  • Manage issuance, renewal, and cancellation of standby and commercial letters of credit. Ensure appropriate controls, documentation, and reporting around all LC activity
  • Support treasury-related audits and external audits
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies, controls, and automation tools
  • Participate in projects together with Treasury and IT team in project aimed on development of Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and supervise required maintenance
  • Evaluate and recommend banking partners, services, and technology to optimize treasury operations
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred
  • 7+ years of treasury experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role; manufacturing or industrial sector experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with treasury management systems (currently company uses Kyriba, experience in this platform is critical for the role) and ERP systems (currently company uses Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and independently manage workflows
  • Strong understanding of cash forecasting, debt instruments, ABL, and letters of credit

Compensation

$150,000 - $160,000
