As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Staff Accountant II who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and being part of a collaborative team environment. - Process and support Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, invoicing, cash applications, bank reconciliations, and collections activities
- Prepare account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciliation items
- Participate in month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and support standard daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and schedules
- Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records
- Perform inventory accounting and reporting activities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two (2) + years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven experience with AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general accounting
- Experience supporting month‑end close and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
- Experience using ERP or financial accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial accounting experience
- Inventory accounting experiences
- Experience working in a growth-oriented business environment
