Store Supervisor
About this role
Job Purpose:
- Managing staff within the store, coordinating the shipping of goods, setting up displays, and assisting customers and staff during business hours.
Store Supervisor Activities:
- Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor.
₋ Ensure pricing is correct.
₋ Work on store displays.
₋ Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees.
₋ Evaluate on-the-job performance.
₋ Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
₋ Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
₋ Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand.
₋ Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
₋ Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
₋ Collect local competitors’ prices.
₋ Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures.
₋ Organize and distribute staff schedules.
₋ Help retail sales staff achieve sales targets.
₋ Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma
Work Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the same or related field
