About this role

Who is Quantium?

Quantium is a world leader in data science and artificial intelligence. Established in Australia in 2002, Quantium is a global team of more than 1,200 people across 14 locations with a unique blend of capabilities across product and consulting services to help businesses unlock value from data and analytics. Quantium partners with the world's largest corporations to forge a better, more intelligent world.

Our Retail practice partners with some of the world's largest and most recognised retailers globally. We help them harness the power of analytics and AI to understand their customers, optimise operations, and drive growth. It's high-impact work, at genuine scale, with clients who are reshaping global retail.

As a Strategy Manager within our Retail practice, you will play a key role in shaping and executing commercial and go-to-market initiatives. You will translate complex analytics capabilities into compelling value propositions and support senior leaders to identify, develop, and close meaningful opportunities with major retail clients across global markets.

How will you make an impact?

  • Go-to-market execution: Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Quantium's retail analytics solutions, helping to bring compelling propositions to market that resonate with retail decision-makers.
  • Commercial pipeline support: Contribute to business development activity across major retail accounts by qualifying opportunities, preparing materials, and supporting senior leaders through the end-to-end commercial process.
  • Translate analytics into value: Bridge the gap between Quantium's technical capabilities and client business challenges, crafting clear narratives that help retail leaders understand how data and AI can drive tangible outcomes.
  • Market and product intelligence: Gather and synthesise market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product direction and commercial positioning, working closely with product leads as a trusted thought partner.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting senior leaders in client conversations and contributing to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and strategic materials.

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Commercial acumen: Experience in business development, strategy, or commercial roles within retail, data analytics, or related industries, with an understanding of how complex solutions are brought to market.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to see the big picture, structure ambiguous problems, and contribute meaningfully to go-to-market and commercial planning under senior direction.
  • Exceptional storytelling: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for senior client stakeholders.
  • Relationship builder: A natural collaborator who builds trust with both internal and external stakeholders, thrives in team environments, and supports senior leaders effectively.
  • Market insight: Solid understanding of retail operations, merchandising, or marketing functions, with commercial instincts to identify and articulate where data and AI create value.

Remember – you might not tick all the boxes, but don’t let that from stopping you applying. We’re more interested in how you work, your ability to solve problems and think big.

What could your Quantium Experience look like?

Working at Quantium will allow you to challenge your imagination. You will get to solve complex problems using rigor, precision and by asking great questions – but it also means you can think big, outside the box and push your problem-solving skills to the max.

By joining the Quantium team, you’ll get to:

  • Forge your path: So many of our team have moved around different teams or offices. You’ll be in the driver’s seat, and we empower you to make your career your own.
  • Find your kind: Embrace diversity and connect with your tribe (think foodies, dog lovers, readers, or runners).
  • Make an impact: Leave your mark. Your contributions resonate, regardless of your role or rank.

But wait, there’s more!

We’ve got some pretty sweet perks:

  • Flexible work arrangements: Achieve work life balance at your own pace with hybrid and flexible work arrangements.
  • Remote working: Option to work in another country for up to 30 calendar days per year, balancing your career with the freedom to work globally. Eligibility criteria apply.

Apply now and let's forge a better, more intelligent world together!
