THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Superannuation and Life Insurance Claims team, supporting the team to manage claims accurately, efficiently and within service standards.

Working alongside our Case Managers, you will play an important role in keeping claims moving by coordinating documentation, maintaining accurate claim records and supporting communication with claimants, beneficiaries, superannuation funds, insurers and employers.

This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home for up to 3 days per week once you complete training.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support to the Superannuation and Life Insurance Claims team.

  • Establish and maintain accurate claim files, including updating records and processing documentation and correspondence.

  • Monitor workflow queues, track outstanding requirements and follow up with relevant stakeholders.

  • Request and coordinate medical, financial and employment information required to progress claims.

  • Liaise with claimants, beneficiaries, funds, insurers and employers, escalating complex matters to Case Managers as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in administration, claims, superannuation, life insurance, financial services or a similar environment is highly desirable.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

  • Confident communication skills, including a professional phone manner and strong written communication.

  • Comfortable working across systems and databases, with a strong focus on data accuracy and process compliance.

  • A genuine interest in supporting people and their families, with previous experience in a claims or case management environment highly regarded.
