Job Description
- Manage and organize customer deliveries, ensuring the correct quantity and specifications are fulfilled.
- Ensure stock availability for customers and offer suitable substitutes, where required, through the Call Center, while clarifying the same with customers.
- Stay thoroughly informed about customer orders and stock availability, and lead hands-on, timely, and efficient deliveries while ensuring satisfactory customer service.
- Prepare gate passes for transportation of goods.
- Ensure effective route planning and hand over delivery documents to the delivery staff.
- Verify daily fuel costs and transactions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Ensure the required productivity levels of delivery vans are achieved.
- Handle and coordinate customer complaints related to delivery issues.
- Maintain appropriate warehouse stock levels and monitor discrepancies.
- Maintain and monitor warehouse quality standards in accordance with established SOPs.
- Coach and train team members on existing and new concepts, technologies, and processes to support the successful achievement of functional objectives, enhance technical skills, and promote a positive attitude and professional growth.
- Monitor the performance of all team members to identify gaps between expected and actual productivity levels.
- Review and approve the operational activities of team members, including Pickers, Packers, QC, and Delivery Staff.
Qualifications
Graduation or equivalent degree
