Supervisor, Quality System

Job Summary**
The Supervisor, Quality System will be responsible for overseeing and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal policies. This role will drive quality initiatives, manage audits, and support a culture of continuous improvement within Johnson Electric International AG - Manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), and other relevant standards.
* Manage internal and external audit programs, including scheduling, execution, reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.
* Ensure timely and effective resolution of quality issues through the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process, driving root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
* Develop and deliver training programs on QMS procedures, tools, and quality principles to manufacturing and support teams.
* Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
* Manage and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records, ensuring they are current and accessible.
* Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring quality gates are met and potential risks are mitigated.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Represent the company during customer and third-party quality audits.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality system management within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in supervising or leading a team.
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards.
* Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PPAP, APQP).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to travel occasionally as required.
